Just a comment... I noticed that the reason shows don't succeed as expected is because too much hype is created before the program is discovered by viewers themselves. It is one thing to promote dutifully, and a totally different thing to pass on to viewers a great show. Can PinoyTV create a program without the hype and over-promising by merely allowing a show to be good by itself? This is a challenge for producers who are sure enough that their programs will be discovered by the present crop of discerning tv viewers even without hyping things up. Can TV stations do that?
Can we challenge them to create 'silent' tv? Can tv be made intelligent? Can tv viewing be made less numbing and more satisfying?
